Clinical Nursing and Midwifery Information System (CN&MIS) update

Development of the clinical nursing and midwifery information system, called careconnect.sa clinical practice support (CPS), to replace the Excelcare system is progressing.

careconnect.sa clinical practice support assists nurses and midwives to make prompt, informed decisions regarding the care requirements and treatment of their patients by utilising electronic clinical decision support tools. These tools are built into the system and relate to patient care planning, quality management of care, patient acuity and nursing and midwifery workforce utilisation.
