The 10th South Australian Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards recognise excellence and acknowledge the significant contribution and pivotal role that nurses and midwives make to their professions, their team and the community through their practice.

In 2010 SA Health, in conjunction with industry partners, celebrates the achievements of nurses and midwives in the following Awards:

The Nursing & Midwifery Excellence Awards function is now a recognised annual event and are presented in conjunction with the celebrations of International Midwives Day (5 May) and International Nurses Day (12 May). The Awards will be presented to the successful recipients at a dinner on Friday, 7 May 2010 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
